American Black Journal

Cantrell and Samoy Smith for an episode of American Black Journal on Detroit Public TV about the Detroit Innovation Fellowship, a program from the New Economy Initiative that recognizes and supports people revitalizing neighborhoods. American Black Journal is an historic television program that has been presenting issues and events from African-American perspectives since 1968, when it went on the air following the social unrest of the 1967 uprising in Detroit.
